Barres caramel salé et chocolat

Salted Caramel and Chocolate Bars

Crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth, and intensely comforting, these bars combine everything we love: the richness of chocolate, the sweetness of caramel, and the hint of salt that balances everything.

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups (200 g) crumbled graham crackers or digestives

  • ½ cup (125 ml) melted butter

  • 1 can (300 ml) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) chopped dark or milk chocolate

  • Flower of salt

Preparation :

  1. Mix the biscuits and butter, press into a square pan lined with parchment paper.

  2. Pour the condensed milk over the base and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave in 30-second intervals.

  4. Spread the melted chocolate over the still warm base and sprinkle with fleur de sel.

  5. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Floréal Touch:
Replace the condensed milk with homemade caramel (sugar, cream and butter) for an even richer texture.
