Candyland Cookies

These pastel shortbread cookies evoke childhood parties and candy-filled display cases. Crispy yet soft, they're adorned with soft colors and a hint of magic. Perfect for a family activity or as a handmade gift.

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups (250 g) flour

  • ½ cup + 1 tbsp (140 g) butter at room temperature

  • ½ cup (100 g) sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation :

  1. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy.

  2. Add the egg, then the flour. Mix to obtain a smooth dough.

  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out your favorite shapes.

  4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned.

  5. Let cool before decorating with colored icing.

Floréal Touch:
Use pastel royal icing and add pearlescent beads to evoke the Candyland universe.
